Romero Vineyard Management is certified agricultural PCA and CCA crop advisors. We frequently field scout for pests and diseases, including weed management. Depending on your desired growth program we have the ability to apply treatment methods in line with sustainable and organic vineyards as well. We are very experienced in preventing powdery mildew in California.

Integrated Pest Management (IPM) is highly encouraged in our managed vineyard sites. The benefits of IPM are a reduction of overall pesticide use, preservation of the beneficial insect population, and to circumvent resistance to singular treatment methods. To prevent bird damage, we can apply netting, propane guns, biosonics, and “Habbitat for Hooters” owl perches. We are well experienced in rodent control and use humane treatment methods.
