Drip irrigation

With water use, we feel it is important to moderate the irrigation to the soil’s composition and vine needs. We primarily work with drip irrigation because it is the most conservative way to water your vineyard site. Depending on your winemaker’s preference, we can accommodate a deficit irrigation program to carefully bring out the best aspects of your fruit.

Soil moisture is monitored using electrical conductivity tools at select locations around the vineyard. We keep a close eye on the individual vine’s stress visually and through using a pressure bomb system. If favorable conditions exist at your site, a dry farming program may be achievable.
